Pep Guardiola’s men face the last match against Real Zaragoza before the Tuesday’s clash against Arsenal for the second leg of the Champions League knockout stages. Carlos Puyol is expected to start on the bench and given a brief run. Puyol has been out since the middle of January with a knee injury and missed the 2-1 defeat at the Emirates. However, the Catalan defender is in line to reappear against The Gunners at Camp Nou. Victor Valdes will miss again a league match due to he is still nursing an injured shoulder.
Real Zaragoza coach, Javier Aguirre, will count with the striker Ikechukwu Uche, who has returned after a long injury layoff last week against Athletic and scored the winning goal. Goalkeeper Leo Franco is still out with an injury and Toni Dablos will continue to deputise for him.
The Catalan giants are enjoying a wonderful season so far, having won 11 of their 13 home games. Real Zaragoza are having a poor 2010/2011 La Liga season and have won only six of the 26 league games played so far.
