Ron Artest from Lakers Suspends for Game 3 for Hitting Dallas Mavericks Point Guard

May 4, 2011, during the fourth quarter of Game 2 of NBA Western Conference Semifinals, Artest from LA Lakers hits Dallas Mavericks point guard Jose Juan Barea. Artest was sadly ejected and on the game Dallas Mavericks defeated by Lakers scoring 93-81.

NBA officials agreed that Ron Artest will suspend for one-game. After the decision Artest had "no reaction" and repeated more than a half-dozen times that the lakers have to move forward.

Coach Phil Jackson of LA Lakers said that he was not surprised by the NBA's decision.
Last series Artest played 31 minutes and he got 6.5 points in each of the first two games.

As a replacement for Artest, either Matt Barnes or Lamar Odom is chosen. If Odom will replace Artest, Odom said he haven't played small forward in a couple of years, that was challege for him if will chosen.
